Griffin (on the left) and Ethan (on the right) are the lively three-year-old twin toddlers of some of the coolest parents you’ll meet. Their Mom Katie is what I’d call a “do” Mom. She’s not the type to overanalyze silly decisions, over-think an amusing idea, or wait until the time is right to have some fun. Nope, Katie is too busy living in the now letting her boys be boys and genuinely enjoying being a wife, mom, full-time art director, part-time artist, and always loyal friend.
For Ethan and Griffin’s portrait session we wanted to capture this beautifully-chaotic time in their family’s lives with as much honesty and candor as possible. As we ripped open the pillows and turned on the fan, I clicked with excitement and was reminded that there are times in life when making a mess is well worth the clean up.
