Kristen Morrison Interiors – nashville, portrait photographer

Interior design has always been fascinating to me. As a kid, I can remember places like Biltmore or Thomas Jefferson’s, Monticello, sending my imagination into over-drive. Nevermind the fact that the “home” had been a museum for years. In my mind I was a curious, lucky voyeur getting a very intimate peak in the home of a stranger just before they got home. I think all the allure comes from the idea that our homes are a reflection of who we are. Appropriately enough, I still have my dorm room dresser and I’ve only ever purchased one single piece of furniture in my life. There’s still time for that, right?

Recently, I was thrilled to collaborate with Kristen Morrison of Kristen Morrison Interiors, capturing some of the thoughtful and inspiring spaces she has created. Even in a room she considered not quite finished, I could tell every floor plan, every piece of furniture, wall color, fabric, and detail had been chosen with care and intent. It’s so very inspiring to work along side someone who is so talented at their craft. Thank you Kristen for a glimpse into the homes (and lives) that have been lucky enough to have your touch.
